The Trustt Anti-Fraud and Spam Policy is effective as of May 05, 2021. This policy may be revised and adjusted at the discretion of Trustt staff, indicating the date of revision.
Trustt, published by Makeup Bag Sas, offers a solution for customer reviews, samples, and data processing on the website www.monvanityideal.com, which contains more than 200,000 reviews, and through the Trustt review module used by its customers, allowing them to collect and disseminate customer reviews related to a purchase or product testing experience.
All users have been informed about the purpose of the reviews.
Trustt thus ensures the reliability and authenticity of published reviews and UGC (User Generated Content). To overcome the challenges in detecting fraudulent reviews, two mechanisms have been introduced: the first is technological, the second is human.
Trustt has developed detection tools, particularly a solution that detects the duplication of reviews (same content as a review already submitted in 80% of cases) and allows for evaluation by teams and customers. Visitors to websites with our review module can also communicate any doubts about a review to the brand so that it can moderate and delete it if necessary. Our robots constantly scan reviews submitted through the Trustt review module. A data analyst continuously develops and refines the algorithms used.

Our teams review hundreds of reviews daily and have the ability to evaluate users in case of doubt, particularly based on data reported by detection tools. In case of doubt, the reviews of these users are subjected to increased scrutiny.

To provide consumers with even more authentic content from buyers and testers, Trustt offers the possibility to upload before-and-after photos and product samples, i.e., personal photos of the product, its packaging, or its effects.
Trustt does not allow companies to call for positive reviews. Consumers must not receive money or other promotional offers in exchange for positive reviews and comments.
Furthermore, Trustt does not allow companies to request reviews from individuals who have a financial interest in the company, such as employees, suppliers, etc., without the reviewer clearly stating this.
Trustt makes all reasonable efforts to detect and not allow the submission of inauthentic content, such as
- Reviews sent to the customer’s website by a competitor in the industry to damage their reputation or that of their products
- Submission of content by users to promote an external service or content, e.g., with external links.
- The submission of automated content by robots or “trolls” with the aim of harming the customer’s website, through the Trustt review module, to avoid spam.
Trustt prohibits customers from rejecting content and user reviews based on star and product ratings evident from the reviews, to prevent the publication of exclusively positive reviews.
A warning with information about the alleged behavior is sent to the email used to submit the review. In the event of a second attempt at fraud, the user is excluded from the platform.
As authenticity is at the core of the Trustt approach, reviews cannot be modified by customers. In the short term, customers have the right to reply if they wish to exercise this right. However, they can decide whether to accept the review on their website or not (moderation), and the shop owner will inform the user about the moderation according to the applicable regulations.
Old reviews from a customer dating from before their contractual relationship with Trustt will be imported without restriction, but can be subject to the same vigilance and management as new reviews to comply with this policy.
