Marie-Pascale founded the beautiful brand Omum after a long 14-month journey around the world. A beautiful beginning to a beautiful brand adventure!
Marie-Pascale was able to observe pregnancy rituals and the care given to pregnant women across the different countries of the world she explored. These moments of joy, celebration, and sharing deeply affected the young woman who became a mother herself after her journey.
Marie-Pascale regrets not finding these moments of care and kindness given to pregnant women in our Western countries. In France, pregnancy is rather punctuated by medical follow-ups and educational appointments, sometimes moralizing. Where is the attention to parents’ emotions? And to strengthening “parent-child” connections?
These reasons led Marie-Pascale to develop a unique brand that revolves around maternal emotions, while meeting the needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women. Healthy compositions, safe for the baby and its mother, but extremely effective!
