Trustt Raises 1 Million Euros to Become the Essential SaaS Tool for Brands in Community Product Marketing

Friday, March 26, 2021 – The French startup Trustt announces the completion of a 1 million euro funding round. Trustt develops a SaaS solution that allows brands to create ambassador programs on their website, placing their community at the heart of their development and digital strategy. This seed round is led by Tomcat Invest, an investment holding linked to the Tomcat Factory accelerator, to finance Seed and Series A rounds, which was launched in 2021 by Jeremy Pouyer and Patrice X. Thiry, founder of ProwebCE. This funding is complemented by a historical shareholder who renews their confidence in the team, as well as new business angels and the BPI.

Trustt currently equips hundreds of consumer goods brands in the French market in Germany and the United States.

In the second half of 2020, in a context of e-commerce acceleration, the startup’s monthly revenue increased by nearly 20% each month. The team is constantly developing new modules and strategic partnerships

Software That Brings Brands Closer to Their Consumers, Putting This Connection at the Heart of Their Transformation

Launched in 2019 by Nadia Gabriel, the CEO, Didier Caillon and Emmanuel Nunez, her 2 co-founders, Trustt is a SaaS software that allows brands to deploy an ambassador program on their site, identify, recruit and build proprietary communities and thus ensure the commercial success of their products.

The team started from three observations: first, nearly 40% of consumer goods are commercial failures, which is an industrial and ecological disaster, as products end up in the trash on the brand or customer side.

Consumers want to be more involved in the life of brands and product design, thus giving meaning to their consumption.

Some players have understood this well, DNVBs or Digital Native Vertical Brands, which base their success on the central place given to their community.

After meeting 250 brands and building a community of 200,000 consumers and influencers, the team designed an integrated software that allows brands to connect with consumers throughout the product lifecycle, and put trust back at the heart of their development, in an era of fake news, fake reviews, and fake followers.

The Trustt solution allows them to collect data to better understand consumer expectations and needs, conduct product tests by selecting the best profiles, including influencers, via machine learning, generate authentic and enriched consumer reviews, and thus word-of-mouth.

Thus, Trustt aims to be a major player in the transformation of brands that allows for more collaborative work and establishes itself as an essential productivity tool for teams to build the future of consumer goods more collaboratively with consumers, in synergy.

Funding in Service of Innovation

Thanks to this funding, Trustt now intends to accelerate its development. In the crosshairs: the acceleration of innovation that will be done with significant R recruitments. The team, which currently has 25 employees, will see its workforce tripled by the end of 2022. The challenge is notably to support the international growth of its clients. The company, based in Paris and Rennes, aims for 1200% commercial growth by 2023.

A Double Acceleration via Tomcat Invest Tomcat Factory

Trustt joined the Tomcat Factory startup accelerator at the end of 2020. Located in Levallois-Perret, Tomcat Factory is a 6-month operational support program, personalized for each startup, according to business priorities identified as most relevant to accelerate the startup’s trajectory: Tech Product, Marketing Strategy, Sales, Leadership. Its watchwords: ambition, vision, audacity, humility, combativeness, resilience, and diversity.

This funding round is primarily a recognition of the work accomplished by our team. It also confirms the attractiveness of our solution, designed with and for our clients, says Nadia Gabriel, CEO founder of Trustt “We have the ambition to accelerate the digital transformation of brands by allowing them to access what makes successful those who put their community at the heart of their digital development. We were convinced by the superb success of Patrice Thiry and the team he has brought together around Tomcat Factory and Tomcat Investissement.

An enthusiasm shared by Patrice X. Thiry, President and founder of Tomcat Investissement Tomcat Factory.Trustt’s ambitions and potential perfectly align with our strategy to develop future global leaders in SaaS

Pierre Marronnier, CEO of Tomcat Factory, states The entire Tomcat Factory team was very enthusiastic about having Trustt among its talents within the accelerator and contributing to this strong acceleration.
